Craig Newsome describes growing up in a strict, religious home
in New Zealand, his journey from Christianity to atheism, to
Buddhism, then his introduction to the LDS Church through,
ironically, online, anti-Mormon sources. He describes his
conversion story, discusses gay policies in the church, and talks
about his desire to have God in his life and how he has reconciled
with Him.
Craig is an active member of the church and his story is an
important one for those struggling with reconciling LGBTQ issues
and the LDS Church.
